Dexam 20 cm (8 inches) Bamboo Steamer Set, 2 layers + lid
£12.50

Manufacturer’s Description
Traditional Chinese Cooking is both nutritious and healthy and doesn’t simply stop at stir frying in a Wok. Your 2 Tier Steamer, manufactured from re-generating Bamboo, allows you to steam both fish and vegetables plus numerous other Chinese dishes the traditional way in your own kitchen. Simply pour a little water in the base of your Wok and then place your Steamer into the Wok so that it rests on the sides but above the water level, when heat is applied steam will develop and be given off which will cook your food to perfection. An added bonus with your Swift Spice Steamer is that, unlike cheaper alternatives, it is held together with Bamboo Twine rather than metal staples which allows it to be used in a microwave. Please wash in warm soapy water rather than a dishwasher. In addition to the Steamer Swift Spice also produces a wide range of Chinese Woks, Chinese Accessories plus Indian Cookware and Serveware.

Pacific Flavors: Thai and Chinese Cooking for an American Kitchen

Product Description
A frequent traveller to the Orient, the author has produced a book of food that combines Thai, Vietnamese and Chinese seasonings with ingredients from his native Pacific coast. The result is food that is light, healthy and easy to prepare. The book won the Best Asian Cookbook of 1988 IACP/Seagram Awards.

From the AuthorNotes On Pacific FlavorsThis was our first cookbook and was the result of four years of recipe testing and writing by me and a year of photography by my wife. As part of the recipe development process, after I tested the recipes and tried them in my cooking classis, all the recipes were then tested and evaluated by 60 home cooks. This exhaustive process resulted in a book whose recipes work and whose recipes when cooked at home have found an appreciative audience nationwide. I described this book as “an Asian cookbook with American accents. ” This cookbook is in its 8th printing
