Had to replace a similar model bought 29 years ago that had just given up the ghost. It was a "no brainer" to go for the more visually modern version, with the same quality internally. Have to put this one in my will as it will out- last me!

Very good piece of equipment that looks nice. Makes great Biscuits, Cakes and Dough. Feels sturdy and the variable speed control is very good. There is loads of accessories available for it but it comes with the most useful one which is the Glass mixer that attaches to the top. That is the only gripe I have which is the piece of plastic that sits on top to cover the connector for the mixer makes a scary breaking sort of sound when attaching and removing. It isnt breaking it just doesnt sound very good and could have been done in a better manor. Overall very pleased.

I have recently purchased this machine. Have made lots of cakes and dough and can now make lovely home made bread without getting my hands all sticky and the kitchen covered in flour! Pastry and cakes are lovely and so easy. Great making pizza dough and they taste so much better than the frozen pizzas and you know what has gone in to your food! Mash potato and carrot and turnip all come out lovely and mashed! Looked at buying the patissieur as didn't really want all the additions other than the basic machine but it was too tall for my kitchen, this machine is smaller and fits in great. I am really pleased with my purchase and recommend this machine to anyone.
