Hard Rock Cafe Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt

On a recent visit to Sharm El Sheikh my wife an I popped into the Hard Rock cafe in Naama Bay for a bit of lunch as it didn’t look like there was much else open at the time.

As with all Hard Rock cafes there were various interesting bits of POP memorabilla, Rod Stewarts jacket, Madonnas once worn left shoe etc.

The staff were friendly and helpful and we ordered chicken burger with fries in true hard rock cafe style.
My lettuce had brown edges and the chips were’nt great to be honest but it was ok but overpriced for what it was really.

I was surprised to see 2 more Hard Rock Cafes being built in Sharm El Sheikh – this would perhaps been more Hard Rock Cafes per square mile than any other city in the world?!

I’m told that Egyptian food is very nice, however I don’t think they are particularly good a doing western food in general. We stayed at the Royal Albertros Moderna in nearby Naabq on an all inclusive deal and the food although plentiful was’nt fantastic either.

Overall though I would recommend a trip to Egypt if only for a snorkling session in the incredible Red Sea – stunning fish and coral reefs galore!

As a frequent diner I know good food and good service from bad. There is nothing better than going out for a nice meal and I'm keen to help others pick a great place to eat.
